Keeping with the theme of today I've decided to dedicate my post to something that is near and dear to my heart....cupcakes! I had the pleasure of trying out the newest cupcake venue in Toronto this weekend - Cake Opera Co. - it was absolutely divine. I felt like I was walking into a Parisian patisserie and was visually overstimulated by the beauty of all the pink highlights and Marie Antoinette headpieces! I also had the pleasure of meeting the pastry chef Jessica Smith who suggested I try the cinnamon and orange blossom macrons ("macrons"spoken with a French accent which Jessica did so well). You MUST put Cake Opera Co. on your todo list!
