Happy 60th Birthday!!!







On Saturday night I had the pleasure of hanging out with a wounded zebra, Mystique from X-Men, and the dead body of JFK!  My cousin Gord celebrated his 60th birthday at his studio where he stores all the face molds and dead bodies from all the movies he’s worked on over the years.  It was a brilliant night filled with lots of interesting and unique individuals and delicious appetizers!  A definite highlight was dancing the night away to Gord and his band with all the free spirits in the room – along with a five-piece horn section that was added to the band for the special event!

If you’re interested in special effects then you should definitely go and see Gord speak at the Revue Cinema in Toronto where he’ll explain designing and building mutant prosthetics for X-Men (March 30) and showing off creatures that he created for Jacob’s Ladder (April 13).
