Last summer I had the pleasure of visiting the luxurious bed and breakfast Thurnham Keep – the most divine Edwardian country house I have ever laid eyes on! Upon arrival my dad and I decided to play a quick game of croquet (I don’t really know why considering that I don’t think either of us knew how to play!) – in the end the breathtaking views of the Kent countryside stole my heart as I quickly lost interest in our “game.” After about forty minutes of soaking up the fresh air and stunning views I decided to join my mom and aunt indoors for a cup of tea where lucky for me the best was yet to come – the conservatory! I have to say that here in North America we haven’t really embraced the conservatory trend but I think we should all consider putting it on our todo lists! The huge standout pieces in the conservatory were the yellow, blue, and pink chairs contrasting against the black and white tile floors – I love how effortlessy so many places in Europe mix modern design with historic architecture. I just couldn’t get enough of these chairs - I love the vibrant colours!
